[6226] Software Development Engineer

Start date: Negotiable
Clearance: NATO Secret or equivalent
Location: The Hague, NL (100% Onsite)


Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
• The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
• Development, deployment, and maintenance of server-side logic
• Proficiency in Java and Python,
• Solid SQL knowledge and data schema design,
• Good understanding of Git for code versioning, CI/CD with Jenkins/GitLab, • rigorous automated testing,
• Experience with Linux operating system,
• Experience with container engines (Podman/Docker).
• Translation of UI/UX designs into responsive web applications:
• experience with web application frameworks like Angular or React
• Legacy application experience:
• Debugging issues in older code bases,
• Modernizing legacy systems.
Desirable:
• Recent experience with Hibernate, Protocol Buffers, gRPC, Ansible, Kubernetes, event streaming platforms;
• Experience with Command and Control applications,
• Recent experience with Spring framework,
• Familiarity with ICC.
